Partly Cloudy Skies with Scattered Showers Loom Over KP

Peshawar: The Provincial Meteorological Centre in Peshawar has forecast predominantly cold and partly cloudy weather across most districts of the province.

However, specific regions are likely to experience isolated rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with snowfall expected over the hills in areas including Chitral, Lower and Upper Dir, Malakand, Buner, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Torghar, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Bajaur, and Khyber districts.

Foggy conditions are anticipated over Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Peshawar, Swabi, and DI Khan districts, as well as along motorways (M1) and highways during late night and early morning hours. The centre has advised travelers on these routes to take necessary precautions.

Over the past 24 hours, the majority of the province experienced partly cloudy weather, with cold conditions prevailing in hilly areas. Isolated instances of light rain were reported in Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Peshawar districts.
