Partly Cloudy Skies, Isolated Rains, Thunderstorms Forecast for KP

Peshawar: The Provincial Meteorological Centre Peshawar on Monday predicted cold and partly cloudy weather conditions across most districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
However, the Met Office also warned of scattered rain, wind, and thunderstorms (with snowfall over hills) in Chitral, Lower and Upper Dir, Malakand, Buner, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Torghar, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, and Bajaur districts.
Isolated rain, wind, and thunderstorms are also expected over Kurram, Khyber, Peshawar, Charsadda, Mohmand, Mardan, Swabi, Karak, and Kohat districts.
The PMC Peshawar has warned of foggy conditions over Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Peshawar, Swabi, and DI Khan districts, as well as over motorways (M1) and highways in the late night and morning hours. Travellers on motorways and highways are advised to take precautionary measures.
During the last 24 hours, cold and partly cloudy weather prevailed in most districts of the province. No rainfall was recorded at any station in KP during the last 24 hours.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in centigrade at different stations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were as follows:
- Peshawar: 26°C (high) / 9°C (low)
- Chitral: 19°C (high) / 2°C (low)
- Timergara: 24°C (high) / 5°C (low)
- Dir: 22°C (high) / 3°C (low)
- Mirkhani: 19°C (high) / 3°C (low)
- Kalam: 17°C (high) / 0°C (low)
- Drosh: 18°C (high) / 7°C (low)
- Saidu Sharif: 24°C (high) / 4°C (low)
- Pattan: 25°C (high) / 10°C (low)
- Malam Jabba: 12°C (high) / 1°C (low)
- Takht Bhai: 26°C (high) / 8°C (low)
- Kakul: 21°C (high) / 5°C (low)
- Balakot: 24°C (high) / 7°C (low)
- Parachinar: 19°C (high) / 3°C (low)
- Bannu: 27°C (high) / 10°C (low)
- Cherat: 19°C (high) / 7°C (low)
- DI Khan City: 27°C (high) / 11°C (low)
The lowest temperature recorded in the province was -01 °C in the Tirah valley of Khyber district and 0 °C in Kalam.
