Parents Held for ‘Murder’ of Daughter Over Marriage Dispute

Hafizabad: The Hafizabad  police claimed to have made a breakthrough in the case of a girl’s death, as reported by a private news channel on Sunday. 

The local police revealed that the victim’s parents were responsible for her murder. 

Allegedly, they were displeased with her marriage to a classmate residing in Ireland, which had been conducted online.

DPO Faisal Gulzar stated that police apprehended the parents as they were covertly transporting the body for burial in an attempt to hide their crime. 

The girl’s father has been taken into custody.

In another incident, the same police have filed a rape case involving a ninth-grade student and her school principal.

The complaint was lodged by the girl’s father, stating that after her health deteriorated, they took her to the hospital, where it was discovered she was four months pregnant.
