Palestine’s Struggle Spotlighted: Lok Virsa Art Gallery Launches Poster Exhibition

Islamabad: The three-day poster exhibition themed ‘Palestine: Oppression, Resistance, Victory’ commenced at Lok Virsa Art Gallery on Friday.

Caretaker Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Jamal Shah, and Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan, Dr Reza Amiri Moghadam, inaugurated the exhibition.

This exhibition, a collaborative effort between the Cultural Consulate Embassy of Iran and the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage, Lok Virsa, aims to shed light on the plight of Palestine.

Minister Jamal Shah reaffirmed his unwavering support for the brave Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle for self-determination. He called upon the global community and the United Nations to intervene and halt the ongoing Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.

Expressing profound regret, Jamal Shah highlighted the cowardly attacks by Israeli forces on unarmed Palestinians, including children, schools, and hospitals, emphasizing Pakistan’s solidarity with the suffering Palestinian population.

Ambassador Dr Reza Amiri Moghadam conveyed his condolences to the Palestinian nation for the loss of innocent lives and commended Pakistan’s firm stance against Israeli aggression. He stressed the urgent need for the Muslim world and global intellectuals to expose the realities of Palestine’s situation to the world.

Moreover, he advocated for immediate measures such as a ceasefire, opening humanitarian corridors to Gaza, and ensuring the right to self-determination for Palestinians through fair elections.
