Pakistan’s Asif Ali Retires from International Cricket

Islamabad: Pakistan batter Asif Ali on Sunday announced his retirement from international cricket, describing it as the greatest honour of his life to represent the country.

In a message posted on X, Asif said, “Wearing Pakistan’s jersey has been the biggest privilege of my life.” He extended gratitude to fans, teammates, and coaches for their support throughout his career.

The middle-order batter clarified that while he is stepping away from international duty, he will continue playing club and league cricket.
