Pakistani Tekken star Arslan Ash welcomes baby boy

Lahore: Pakistan’s e-sports icon Arslan Siddique, widely known as Arslan Ash, and his wife have welcomed their first child — a baby boy.

The world-renowned Tekken champion shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo featuring his hand, his wife’s hand, and their newborn’s tiny hand. “Alhamdulillah, blessed with a baby boy. Welcome to the world, Muhammad Ayan. Our family feels complete,” he captioned the post.

Arslan, who hails from Lahore, is celebrated globally for his extraordinary rise in competitive gaming. Starting his journey at the age of eight in local arcades, he went on to dominate international e-sports circuits.

In August this year, Arslan secured his sixth Evolution Championship Series (EVO) title at EVO 2025 in Las Vegas. Representing Twisted Minds, he defeated fellow Pakistani player Atif Butt to clinch the Tekken 8 Grand Final.

His illustrious career includes winning the Tekken 7 title in Japan in 2019, followed by victories at EVO USA the same year. He secured third place at EVO 2022, triumphed in Tekken 7 at EVO Japan in April 2023, and won his fifth EVO crown in July 2024.

Widely regarded as the greatest Tekken player of all time, Arslan was also named the Best E-Player of 2019 by ESPN. His achievements include the CEO 2021 Championship and winning the prestigious Combo Breaker Tekken 7 tournament in 2022, where he defeated all ten of his opponents.

The gaming community in Pakistan and abroad has poured in congratulatory messages as Arslan Ash celebrates both personal joy and continued professional success.
