Fujairah: Pakistani taekwondo athlete Haroon Khan secured a bronze medal at the 12th Fujairah Open International Taekwondo Championship 2025 in the highly competitive G-2 category, showcasing his skill and resilience on the international stage.

According to an official press release, Haroon delivered an impressive performance, winning three consecutive matches before falling short in the semi-finals against Iran’s Hosseinpour Alireza. 

He displayed remarkable agility and tactical precision, securing victories over Kuwait’s Alqallay F and Iran’s Khajavi Rastin, earning praise for his powerful kicks and strategic gameplay.

Although his journey ended in the semi-finals, Haroon remains determined to achieve greater milestones. “It’s an honor to win a medal for Pakistan on such a prestigious platform. This experience has fueled my motivation to train harder and aim for gold in future competitions,” he said after the match.

Haroon’s bronze at Fujairah Open adds to Pakistan’s growing presence in international taekwondo, inspiring young athletes to pursue excellence in the sport.
