Islamabad: Renowned Pakistani comedian, actor, and host Shafaat Ali has sparked widespread attention on social media with his satirical video mocking Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The video, which quickly went viral, showcases Shafaat’s comedic talent as he imitates Modi’s distinct tone and mannerisms while delivering a sharp critique of India’s military operations.

Posted on Instagram, the video centers around a parody of India’s so-called ‘Operation Sindoor,’ with Shafaat humorously exaggerating Modi’s speech. In the video, he says, “In the night, our Air Force sought permission, and the code word was ‘Sindoor’ — a decision that will change history and help win the Bihar elections,” in an imitation of Modi’s signature delivery.

The comedian further mocked the operation, quipping, “When our air force reached Pakistan, we were treated to a full walima (wedding reception) in return. What more can I say about our Rafale and MiG aircraft?”

The video concludes with Shafaat, still in character as Modi, addressing Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir with the exaggerated phrase, “We want to say only one thing to Pakistan on behalf of the Indian Army and the world’s largest democracy — Gen Asim Munir, you are my life, my soul!”
