Pakistan vs New Zealand, 2nd T20 Will be Played Today
News Desk
Islamabad: The second T20 International between Pakistan and New Zealand is scheduled to take place today (Saturday) in Rawalpindi.
The Kiwi team’s optional training session was called off due to rain in Islamabad and Rawalpindi yesterday (Friday). Instead, the players enjoyed watching a rugby match on television in the hotel.
The Pakistani players took the opportunity to rest. It’s likely that the Pakistan team will enter the field without making any changes to the lineup for today’s match.
Only two balls were bowled in the first T20 due to rain in Rawalpindi.
The second T20 match between the two teams is set to commence today at 7 pm at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
It’s worth noting that Geo Super is broadcasting all the matches of the five-match series between Pakistan and New Zealand live.
The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium is Pakistan’s national cricket ground where international matches are organized. However, poor management in dealing with shifting weather conditions and the lack of a roof often disappoint cricket lovers in Rawalpindi. If the cricket stadium were to be covered in the visitor areas, the crowd could be protected from disruptions caused by inclement weather, ensuring that matches proceed without interruption.
