Pakistan to Close Airspace for Three Hours on October 28-29
News Desk
Karachi: Pakistan will temporarily close its airspace for three hours on both October 28 and 29, according to a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA).
The notification, circulated to all airlines and aviation companies, stated that the airspace will remain closed from 6am to 9am on both days.
Authorities have not specified the reason for the closure, but aviation sources said such measures are typically taken for operational or security-related activities requiring restricted airspace.
Airlines have been advised to adjust their flight schedules accordingly to avoid any inconvenience to passengers.
