Pakistan Police Win 30 Medals at 35th National Games

Lahore: Pakistan Police athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the 35th National Games 2025, winning a total of 30 medals—including one gold, two silver, and 27 bronze—marking a historic achievement for the force.

According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, Abdul Saboor secured the gold medal in Wushu Fight, demonstrating exceptional skill, courage, and determination. Another standout athlete, Hira Naz, also earned a gold medal with a remarkable performance in the Fitness Challenge exhibition match.

The Pakistan Police contingent also won first position in the opening ceremony for its exemplary discipline and impressive turnout, earning wide appreciation from participants and officials.

President of the All Pakistan Police Sports Board and IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated all victorious athletes, coaches, and sports officials for their achievements.

He praised the role of Patron-in-Chief Wushu Fight, Additional IG Investigation Punjab Shahzada Sultan, along with coaches and team management, for their dedicated efforts.

Dr. Anwar noted that the 550-athlete contingent showcased remarkable performance throughout the Games held in Karachi, attributing these historic victories to their hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment.

“The entire force takes pride in athletes who bring honour to the department through outstanding performances at national and international levels,” he added.
