Pakistan Edge Windies to Seal T20I Series 2-1

Islamabad: Pakistan clinched a 2-1 series victory over the West Indies after winning the third and final T20I by 13 runs at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground.

Batting first, Pakistan posted a competitive total of 189 for 4, powered by a century opening partnership. Saim Ayub contributed a solid 66, while Sahibzada Farhan top-scored with a composed 74 off 53 balls, hitting three fours and five sixes.

The 138-run stand was broken in the 17th over when pacer Shamar Joseph dismissed Farhan. Khushdil Shah and Faheem Ashraf remained unbeaten on 11 and 10 respectively, as the innings concluded with 11 sixes and 7 fours overall.

In reply, the West Indies were restricted to 176 for 6 in their 20 overs. Pakistan’s bowling effort was led by Hasan Ali, Mohammad Nawaz, Haris Rauf, Sufiyan Muqeem, and Saim Ayub, each picking up a wicket.

Pakistan made two changes to their lineup for the final match: Haris Rauf replaced Shaheen Afridi, while Khushdil Shah came in for Fakhar Zaman.

The series began with Pakistan winning the first T20I by 14 runs, defending 178/6 as West Indies were limited to 164/7. The hosts bounced back in the second match, chasing down 134 to win by 2 wickets, finishing on 135/8 in the final over.
