Pakistan Blacklists 56 Visa Agencies Amid Fraud Concerns

Islamabad: In a decisive move to combat fraud and ensure the integrity of its visa issuance process, the government has blacklisted 56 visa agencies in Pakistan.
The announcement was made, through a formal release, which includes a comprehensive list of agencies barred from operating due to involvement in fraudulent activities or failure to comply with legal standards.
According to the documents available with PenPK.com, the blacklisted agencies include well-known names such as Mian Enterprises, Arshian Wazeer International, View International Services, and Doha International, among others.
The decision comes as part of a broader crackdown on corruption within the visa issuance system, aiming to protect citizens from exploitation and ensure fair practices in overseas employment services.
The government has explicitly warned these agencies that any further involvement in fraudulent activities will lead to severe legal consequences, including the potential for criminal prosecution. The ban is comprehensive, affecting all forms of license issuance and operational permissions for the named agencies.
Muhammad Saeed Al Ahmari, Head of the Consular Section, emphasized the importance of public awareness in combating fraud. He urged citizens to share the information widely to prevent others from falling victim to deceitful practices.
This proactive measure reflects the government’s commitment to safeguarding the interests of its citizens and maintaining the integrity of its immigration processes.
