PAK, SA Women Ready for T20 Series in Multan

Multan: The Pakistan and South Africa women’s cricket teams are set to face off in an exciting three-match T20 series at the Multan Cricket Stadium from September 16 to 20.

The first two matches will take place on September 16 and 18, starting at 7:00 pm, while the final match on September 20 will be a morning fixture, beginning at 10:00 am, according to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials.

This series will serve as preparation for both teams ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, which is scheduled to take place in the UAE. The South African team is set to depart for Dubai on September 21, while the Pakistan team will leave on September 23.

The South African team will arrive in Lahore on the morning of September 13 and travel to Multan via a chartered flight. Both teams will train at the Multan Cricket Stadium on September 14 and 15, starting at 2:00 pm.

On September 14, a Pakistani player will be available for short interviews before the training session.

A pre-series media conference will be held on September 15, with team captains Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa) and Fatima Sana (Pakistan), followed by a trophy photoshoot. After the third and final match, star performers from both teams will participate in a post-series media conference.
