Over 253,000 Afghan Return Through KP's Border Crossings

Peshawar: The repatriation of individuals to Afghanistan has persisted, with a total of 253,068 people returning as of December 2 via three border points in Khyber-Pakthunkhwa.

According to the KP Home Department, the breakdown of repatriation includes 248,890 individuals through Torkham, 3,479 through Angor Adda Waziristan, and 698 via Kharlachi Kurram district.

Illegal Immigrants Dilemma

In addition, a total of 5,064 individuals, comprising 114 from Islamabad, 873 from Punjab, and 24 from Azad Kashmir, were deported through KP. Correspondingly, 6,075 people were deported through the Torkham border.
