Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, held an online “Khuli Kachehri” on Tuesday, allowing citizens to voice their grievances directly through telephone calls.

The session, conducted from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., allowed citizens to raise concerns such as delays in First Information Reports (FIR) registration, incomplete investigations, and theft cases. The IGP personally listened to the complaints and assigned senior officers to resolve the issues promptly.

IG Rizvi emphasized that delays in investigations would not be tolerated and called for professional conduct from police officers. He also outlined steps to tackle professional beggars, dacoits, and drug-related crimes, assuring that Islamabad Police would work tirelessly to safeguard citizens’ lives and property.

The IGP received praise on social media for holding the session, which he said is aimed at bridging the gap between the police and the public. Rizvi reiterated that Islamabad Police remains committed to maintaining peace and tranquility in the capital, vowing to root out corruption and misconduct within the force.
