Online Scammers Target Model and Actress Nadia Hussain

Islamabad: Renowned model and actress Nadia Hussain was targeted by online scammers after a caller impersonating an FIA officer attempted to extort Rs. 30 million from her in exchange for the release of her allegedly detained husband, Atif.
According to reports from City 21, a suspicious individual contacted Nadia, falsely claiming that he had resolved the situation regarding her husband. The fraudster demanded Rs. 30 million and pressured her to keep the conversation confidential.
“This should remain between you and me. Don’t tell anyone,” the caller allegedly warned in an attempt to intimidate Nadia.
Shocked and outraged by the incident, Nadia condemned the fraudulent act, expressing disbelief at the audacity of preying on a vulnerable woman.
“I’m amazed at people who target a helpless woman and tear her apart,” she said.
“You called me ‘son.’ Your son isn’t doing well now,” she added, addressing the scammer.
In response to the incident, FIA officials have vowed to take strict action against those responsible for the fraudulent call.
While details surrounding Atif’s alleged arrest on fraud charges are still unclear, authorities have launched an investigation into the attempted scam.
