Ranks 64 in Prestigious QS Asia University Rankings

Islamabad: Continuing its upward trajectory, the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) has climbed three positions to reach #64 among Asian universities in the QS Asia University Rankings 2024.

The university has also maintained its top position in Asia among Pakistani higher education institutions for the seventh consecutive year. According to the press release issued on Monday, NUST’s improved ranking reflects its comprehensive approach to academic excellence and unwavering commitment to quality.

The latest edition of Asian rankings by QS includes assessments of 857 universities, showcasing a notable increase compared to the previous year’s figure of 760. QS Rankings evaluate institutions based on various criteria, including academic quality, employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, citations per paper, papers per faculty, faculty staff with PhDs, and international research networks, among others.

In addition to its Asian standing, NUST is currently positioned at #367 in the QS World University Rankings 2024. This continued success underscores the university’s dedication to fostering a conducive environment for learning and research on a global scale.
