Noor Mukadam murder case: Zahir Jaffar sentenced to death

An Islamabad court has sentenced Zafir Jaffar to death for the murder of Noor Mukadam, GEO News reported on Thursday.
The verdict was announced by district and session court judge Justice Atta Rabbani after a long-dranw trial of over four months. Zahir’s mother Asmat Adamjee, father Zakir Jaffar and cook Jamil have been acquitted.
The verdict was reserved by the local court after the completion of arguments earlier this week.The trial court had finally reached a decision in the high-profile case after the counsel representing Noor’s father completed his arguments at Tuesday’s hearing.
The trial of the gruesome murder continued for four months and eight days.
