Islamabad: Six brothers and six sisters from Jalalpur Pirwala recently tied the knot in a unique and simple wedding ceremony, which has sparked widespread discussion in the town.
The event, costing only Rs 100,000, stood out due to its simplicity.
There was no dowry, no extravagant rituals, and no gifts exchanged, aligning with Islamic principles that emphasize modesty over display of wealth.
The ceremony, attended by just over 100 guests, was deliberately kept small and intimate. The grooms explained that the aim was to demonstrate that Islamic weddings need not be marked by lavishness or unnecessary traditions.
The wedding has become a noteworthy example of a cost-effective, meaningful celebration rooted in faith and simplicity.
