Nimra Khan’s Upcoming Drama Portrays Deeply Ingrained Social Obstacles

Islamabad: A new drama series featuring Nimra Khan is about to debut, illustrating the harsh realities of society surrounding vulnerable families.

The plot of the upcoming tale revolves around a family that is plagued by the burden of societal wrongs while being haunted by dishonest faces.

Starring bigwigs of the industry, the cast of this drama includes Nimra Khan, Maria Malik, Laiba Khan, Ayesha Gul, Behroze Sabzwari, Shabbir Jan, Farhan Ally Agha and Farida Shabbir along with other co-stars.

It is penned by Dilawar Khan and Anila Syed and directed by Shahid Younus.

Under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment, the drama will be aired on a popular private television network very soon as it has already released two of its teasers illustrating the heart-breaking storyline.

In a few years, Pakistan’s drama industry has begun to address bold topics and mature social issues in quite a good number. And the trend is nowhere near slowing down.

The dramas have shunned run-of-the-mill stories and now are focusing more on social taboos. Some of these successful dramas include Roag, Chup Raho, Udaari,and Khuda Mera Bhi Hai.
