Islamabad: Prominent actress Nimra Khan narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt in Karachi’s DHA, with CCTV footage now available.

The video captures Nimra Khan standing on the road outside a hotel, apparently waiting for her car, when two men on a motorcycle approach her. She pushes them away and runs to the main road, where she manages to flag down a passing car for help.

The motorcyclists then flee the scene.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Deputy Inspector General South Asad Raza have taken notice of the incident and have requested reports from the relevant authorities.

On Monday, Nimra Khan shared on Instagram that three armed men tried to abduct her while she was waiting for her car outside a hotel in Karachi’s Defence area. The actress recounted the traumatic experience, stating that the men attempted to force her into their vehicle at gunpoint.

Despite the lack of assistance from bystanders, Nimra Khan managed to resist the attackers.

In the viral footage, she expressed that the armed men could have shot her, but she successfully stopped a passing car. She questioned, “If women aren’t safe in Pakistan, should we really be celebrating Pakistan Day?

Can anyone confidently claim that their sister, wife, daughter, or mother is safe in Pakistan? Sadly, the answer is no,” she said in the video.
