NHMP Officials Exhibit Honesty, Return Rs 50,000 to Driver

Islamabad: In a heartening display of honesty and dedication, officials from the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) recently reunited a truck driver with a lost sum of Rs 50,000.
The incident unfolded near Colonel Sher Khan’s Interchange, where the truck driver had stopped to change a tyre. Unaware that the money had fallen from his possession, he drove away from the location. Upon realizing the loss, he immediately sought assistance from the NHMP (North Zone) officials.
Responding to his request, the diligent NHMP team combed the area and successfully retrieved the lost amount.
The money was returned to the relieved truck driver, who expressed deep gratitude for the Motorway Police’s integrity and unwavering commitment to their duty.
Muhammad Saqib, the spokesperson for the Motorway police, emphasized the significance of this incident, noting that it exemplifies the department’s core values of honesty and its dedication to safeguarding the well-being of all individuals on the road.
