The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reports that additional monsoon winds from the Arabian Sea will bring rain with strong winds and thunder to regions including Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Malakand, Bajaur, Shangla, Battgram, Buner, Kohat, Mohmand, Khyber, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, Hangu, Kurram, Waziristan, and Bannu.

The PDMA has issued an alert to district administrations to prepare for potential hazards due to dusty winds, storms, and thunder. Authorities are advised to ensure the availability of machinery and take preventive measures against possible incidents.

Residents are advised to stay away from power lines, dilapidated buildings, signboards, and billboards during strong winds. Farmers should adjust their routines based on the weather forecast, and tourists and locals in sensitive areas should remain cautious and stay informed about weather conditions.
