New Delhi Reports First Death from Heatstroke

Islamabad: Indian capital New Delhi has reported the first death from heatstroke this year, Indian media reported on Thursday. 

According to Indian media, a 40-year-old laborer died of heatstroke in a hospital in New Delhi.

New Delhi is likely to experience a drop in heat from today and rain, thundershowers and dusty winds are also likely till June 4.

More than 60 people have died due to extreme heat in India since March 1. On the other hand, monsoon rains have started in the Indian state of Kerala before time.
