Netflix’s Stranger Things Ends, Cast Shares Emotional Goodbyes

Islamabad: After nearly ten years of monsters, mysteries, and memories, Stranger Things has officially come to an end—bringing an emotional farewell for the cast and creators who grew up alongside the hit Netflix series.
The supernatural thriller, which debuted in 2016, transformed a group of unknown child actors into global stars and became one of Netflix’s most successful and culturally defining shows. Its final chapter closed on New Year’s Eve 2025, ending the story of Hawkins while cementing the series’ place in television history.
Ahead of the finale’s release, series creators Matt and Ross Duffer reunited with the show’s core cast on December 19, 2025, at Netflix’s Paris Theatre in New York City. Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp gathered to watch the much-anticipated final episode, The Rightside Up, together for the first time.
The screening turned into a deeply emotional moment, as cast members reflected on a journey that shaped their lives. Millie Bobby Brown, who rose to fame as Eleven, spoke candidly about growing up on the show.
“I started this when I was just 12,” she said. “It’s hard to imagine my life without these people. They’ve been my family for ten years, and this goodbye is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.”
Brown, now 21, added that some of those bonds will last forever, joking that co-star Noah Schnapp remains the godfather of her child.
Other cast members echoed similar sentiments, sharing memories of growing up on set and forming lifelong friendships through the series. The Duffer brothers also paid tribute to the actors, praising their dedication and the commitment that helped bring the story to life over a decade.
With its finale now aired, Stranger Things closes the door on Hawkins’ eerie adventures—but leaves behind a lasting legacy that reshaped genre television and launched a generation of stars.
