Neglected School in Chak No 242 JB Puts Students at Risk

Chiniot: Students in Chak No 242 JB (Marlo), Bhawana Tehsil, are forced to study in unsafe conditions as their school building remains in a dilapidated state due to the negligence of the Education Department.

The school lacks basic facilities, and despite repeated appeals from local residents, authorities have yet to take action. With no alternative school nearby, students are left with no choice but to risk their safety while pursuing education.

Residents have submitted multiple applications to higher authorities for the school’s renovation but have received no response. Expressing their frustration, locals have urged the Chief Officer of Education, Deputy Commissioner Chiniot, Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to intervene and safeguard the future of their children.
