NDMA Forecasts Pleasant Weather for Ramazan

Islamabad: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has forecast generally pleasant weather conditions across the country during the holy month of Ramazan, with gradually rising daytime temperatures and relatively cool nights.

According to the NDMA’s National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC), most parts of the country are expected to experience predominantly dry weather during the first ten days of Ramazan. However, light rain is likely in northern and western regions. Nights are forecast to remain cold in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and northern Balochistan.

During the second ten days of the holy month, temperatures are expected to rise further. Rain is forecast at isolated places in northern areas, central Punjab and the Potohar region. Gusty winds and thunderstorms may also occur at some locations.

In the final ten days of Ramazan, rainfall is anticipated in various parts of the country, with intermittent showers likely in northern Pakistan and central Punjab. By the end of the month, a significant increase in temperatures is expected in southern Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.

The NEOC is issuing timely advisories to the public and relevant institutions regarding expected weather conditions and potential risks, aiming to ensure preparedness and public safety throughout the holy month.
