Naseem Shah’s Twin? Viral Video Leaves Fans Confused
News Desk
Islamabad: A man bearing a striking resemblance to Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah has gone viral after expressing his frustration in a video regarding the controversy surrounding the YouTube show India’s Got Latent. However, rather than focusing on his views, social media users are more intrigued by his uncanny resemblance to the cricketer.
In the widely shared video, the man criticizes the excessive attention given to India’s Got Latent, arguing that more pressing issues such as inflation, pollution, and unemployment deserve greater concern.
“Our country will only improve when shows like India’s Got Latent are banned. Even Elon Musk and China share similar views. China disrupted the market with platforms like DeepSea, yet here, the main debate is whether the show should be banned,” he asserts.
He further laments the worsening socio-economic conditions, stating, “People are being treated like criminals, while inflation, pollution, and unemployment are escalating. But no one is addressing these critical issues.”
The man also points out the apparent double standards in entertainment, questioning why controversial songs such as Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai, Sheila Ki Jawani, and Bidi Jalai Le have been played at festivals for years without facing similar backlash. “Where was the outrage back then?” he asks.
Defending comedy as a form of entertainment, he remarks, “Comedy is meant to be just that—comedy. This isn’t a philosophy or physics class. If you don’t like the show, simply don’t watch it. But people want to watch it and criticize it at the same time—how hypocritical!”
Despite his serious stance on the controversy, social media users remain fixated on his resemblance to Naseem Shah. The video has sparked a flood of humorous memes and comments.
One user quipped, “He looks exactly like Naseem Shah’s brother.” Another joked, “Hailaaaa! Naseem Shah!”
Some cricket fans, seemingly confused, initially believed the man was Naseem himself. “At first, I thought this was Pakistan’s cricket player Naseem Shah,” one user commented. Another questioned, “Is this Naseem Shah? The Pakistani bowler?”
A few humorously suggested he should avoid Indian controversies and focus on cricket. “Why is Naseem Shah upset about Indian issues? Bro, focus on the Champions Trophy,” one remarked. Another added, “Naseem Shah, focus on your bowling!”
As the internet continues to buzz over the man’s resemblance to Pakistan’s young fast-bowling star, his original message about societal concerns appears to have taken a backseat to the viral fascination with his lookalike status.
