Peshawar: A mysterious illness has claimed the lives of four children in Gandaf village, Swabi district, within a single week, sparking fear and concern among local residents.

The deceased children include three-month-old Muhammad Owais, two-year-old Abu Zar Umar, nine-month-old Umar Khan, and five-year-old Abu Huraira, all of whom reportedly fell ill with high fever, body rashes, and severe weakness before their conditions rapidly worsened.

Local residents suspect a possible measles outbreak and have expressed alarm over the lack of timely medical intervention. They warned that without immediate preventive measures, the disease could spread further in the area.
