Islamabad: Bangladesh cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim has expressed his admiration for Islamabad, stating that it is his first visit to the city and he finds it beautiful with excellent facilities.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad on Saturday, Rahim praised the Pakistan Shaheens team for their impressive performance.

He highlighted Umar Amin’s exceptional batting, as well as the strong performances of bowlers Naseem Shah and Muhammad Ali.

Rahim also mentioned the presence of young players in the Bangladesh squad, noting that the upcoming two Test matches will provide valuable learning opportunities for them.

However, he pointed out that rain had disrupted their practice sessions during the first two days, limiting their preparation to a net session.

Despite suffering from finger pain that prevented him from batting in the second innings, Rahim confirmed that he will be ready to play in the first Test match.
