Islamabad: Indulge in a scrumptious Cheesy Chicken Lifafa!
This recipe showcases tender minced chicken seasoned with aromatic spices, all wrapped in crispy layers. The addition of gooey cheese makes for an irresistibly delicious snack.
Ingredients for Dough
- All-purpose flour 3 cups
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Water as required
Ingredients for Keema Filling
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Chicken mince 1 kg
- Onion (chopped) 1/2 cup
- Tomato puree 1 cup
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
- Garlic powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Ingredients for Cheesy Chicken Lifafa
- Prepared dough
- Prepared keema filling
- Mozzarella Cheese 1 cup
- American Burger Slices as required
- Flour mixture (All-purpose flour 3 tbsp + water 1/2 cup)
- Oil (for frying) as required
Direction
In a bowl add flour, oil, salt, water and knead a smooth dough. Set aside until used.
In a pan heat oil and add chicken mince and cook until it changes color. Add onion, tomato puree and cook for 1-2 mins.
Add red chili powder, salt, red chili flakes, garlic powder, turmeric powder and cook until mince is fully done. Set aside.
Take the prepared dough, divide it into 4 hours. Take one part and roll it out into flat circle.
Cut it in square shape and set aside.
In a bowl add chicken filling and Mozzarella Cheese. Mix it well.
Now take American Burger Slice and cut it into 4 equal parts.
Now take the rolled out square shaped dough. Place keema filling in the center and place Nurpur American Burger Slice on it.
Now wrap it in lifafa shape by securing the edges with flour mixture.
Deep fry until crispy and golden in color. Your Cheesy Chicken Lifafa is ready.
