Islamabad: A lost child in the Attock district was reunited with his mother, thanks to the Motorway Police’s timely action on Tuesday.
A Motorway Police spokeswoman said that the officers near M-1 Swabi saw a seven-year-old child in distress.
On seeking information, it was discovered that the youngster had been studying in a seminary, from which he had wandered but not found his way back home.
The child did not have any contact information, such as a phone number or address. Therefore, the highway police took the child into protective custody.
The child’s home was eventually located by utilising all the resources, including contacting the district police and making announcements in mosques. The child’s father had passed away, and his mother thanked the highway police for delivering her son safely.
