Motorway Police Reunite Missing Child With Parents In Timely Response

Wah Cantt: The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) on Sunday successfully reunited a missing child with his family after he was found wandering near the Burhan service area on the M-1 Motorway.

According to official sources, patrolling officers received a report about a missing child in the vicinity. The child, aged approximately three and a half years, had become separated from his parents during travel.

Upon receiving the alert, the beat commander of Beat-4 promptly reached the location and took the child into protective custody to ensure his safety. The sector commander of M-1 immediately informed the M-2 North Sector Commander, who in turn alerted all patrolling units in the surrounding areas to assist in the search for the child’s family.

Shortly afterward, the parents contacted the Motorway Police to report their missing son. They were informed that their child had been found safe and was in the custody of Beat-4 officials.

In a swift and coordinated effort, Motorway Police handed over the child to his parents at the Main Toll Plaza on M-2, ensuring a safe and emotional reunion.
