Islamabad: This Moroccan Chicken Steak recipe combines bold spices with tender chicken for an unforgettable meal. It’s a simple yet flavorful dish that will impress your guests and make your dinner special!

Ingredients for Chicken Steak:

  • 3-4 Boneless chicken fillets
  • 2 tbsp Hot sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Mustard paste
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • Oil (as needed for grilling)

Ingredients for Moroccan Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Chili paste
  • 2 tbsp Chili garlic sauce
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Cream
  • 1 tbsp Hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Crushed black pepper
  • 3-4 Basil leaves (chopped)

Ingredients for Sauteed Veggies:

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 cup Potato wedges (blanched)
  • 1 cup Carrot (blanched)
  • 1 cup Broccoli (blanched)
  • 1 tsp Crushed black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt

Directions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken:
    In a bowl, combine boneless chicken fillets, hot sauce, garlic powder, crushed black pepper, salt, mustard paste, and soy sauce. Mix well and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Grill the Chicken:
    Heat oil in a grill pan. Place the marinated chicken fillets on the pan and grill each side for 2-3 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Moroccan Sauce:
    In a pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil. Add chili paste and chili garlic sauce, mixing well.
    Add milk and cream, and cook for a minute.
    Stir in hot sauce, salt, crushed black pepper, and basil leaves. Cook for another minute, then set aside.
  4. Saute the Veggies:
    In a separate pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil. Add potato wedges, carrot, and broccoli. Season with black pepper and salt. Saute for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the veggies are heated through and slightly golden.
  5. Serve:
