More Rain Expected In Sindh From July 22-24: PMD

Karachi/Sargodha: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday forecast more rain in most parts of the Sindh province from July 22 to 24, with occasional gaps. Meanwhile, the local Met Office predicted chances of rain for Sargodha on Saturday.

PMD said that more rain is predicted in Karachi, Hyderabad, Tharparker, Umerkot, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu, Jacobabad, Badin, and Thatta.

However, heavy rains are predicted during the next 24 hours in Mithi, Padidan, Jamshoro, Khairpur, and Chhor. Whereas, heavy rains may cause waterlogging in low-lying areas of Umerkot, Tharparkar, Nangarparker, Islamkot, Mithi, Chhor, Padidan, Hyderabad, Karachi, Thatta, Badin, Mohenjodaro, Sanghar, Khairpur, Dadu, and their surrounding areas.

Rain likely to occur in Sargodha

The Met Office predicted partly cloudy to cloudy weather over the next 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded were 34°C and 27°C during the last 24 hours.
