More Monsoon Rains Predicted In Lahore: PMD

Lahore: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has projected another widespread wet spell from Tuesday night to Sunday in most parts of the Punjab province, including the provincial capital.

The monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea are likely to penetrate the upper and central parts of the country from July 18 (night) which are likely to intensify on July 19, stated a PMD spokesman.

Under the influence of these weather systems, rain and wind-thundershowers (with heavy falls) are likely to occur from Tuesday to Sunday, with occasional gaps in Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Kasur, Mianwali, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Sahiwal, Bahawalnagar, Okara, most parts of the Pothohar Region, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Khyber-Pakh

Rain and wind-thundershowers are also expected from July 19 to 21 with occasional gaps in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Multan, Bhakkar, Layyah, Kot Addu, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan.
