Monsoon Rains Forecast Across Country from Today

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted widespread rainfall across Pakistan from today (Sunday) until Wednesday due to monsoon winds.
The department predicts rain starting today in Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab, and Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Sindh’s districts, including Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Umarkot, Badin, and other coastal areas, may experience rain accompanied by thunderstorms, with some places seeing partly cloudy conditions.
Karachi is expected to begin receiving rain from Monday.
Meanwhile, the Met Office in Bahawalpur has forecast partly cloudy to cloudy weather for the city for the next 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature 41 centigrade and the lowest minimum 33 centigrade were recorded during the last 24 hours.
The partly cloudy to cloudy weather has also been forecast for the rest of the region.
