MNJ Road Cleared For Traffic: NHA

News Desk

Kaghan: The National Highways Authority (NHA) and Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) reopened Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad (MNJ) road on Wednesday for all sorts of vehicular traffic which had been closed.

Due to unusual weather conditions, the MNJ road, which was opened during Eid vacations, was closed after three days when a glacier melted at Chatta Katta. The Goria Chang-Naran Kaghan Road glacier was also removed, and now both routes are open for traffic.

NHA, KDA, and district administration officials are constantly working to remove debris and glaciers off the MNJ and NaranKaghan roads to facilitate tourists. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Development Authority (TDA) also established a helpline number, 1422, to provide guidance to tourists around the clock.

Similarly, KDA and TDA also update weather and road conditions for tourists twice a day via social media platforms.
