Missing Couple’s Lifeless Bodies Recovered from Deep Well

Havelian: After a challenging rescue operation, the bodies of a missing couple were recovered from a deep well in Malkaan, a village near Havelian, Abbottabad, on Saturday.

The well’s significant depth made the operation particularly difficult for police and rescue teams, who worked tirelessly for several hours.

The missing persons report for the couple, Syed Aman Ali Shah (75) and Jaweria Bibi (54), was filed eight months ago.

SP (Investigation) Muhammad Ishtiaq confirmed that the exact cause of death would be determined after post-mortem examination.

Rescue 1122 teams, led by District Emergency Officer Arif Khattak, conducted a four-hour-long operation to recover the bodies, ensuring safety protocols were followed throughout.

The bodies have been transferred to a local hospital under police supervision for further investigation.
