Met Office Predicts Rain In Several Areas Of Sindh Till July 9

Karachi: The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) Karachi, on Thursday, predicted rain with dust and thunderstorms at scattered places in various districts of the province as Monsoon currents approach eastern and northwestern Sindh which will gradually spread over the entire province.
Under the influence of Monsoon currents, dust, thunder and rain at scattered places are expected in Dadu, Jamshoro, Kambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Larkana, Shikarpur, Tharparker, and Umer Kot districts till July 9, with occasional gaps.
Furthermore, Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, and NaushahroFeroz districts are likely to experience dust, thunderstorms and rain with isolated heavy falls during July 7-9 with occasional gaps, RMC stated.
Dust, thunderstorms and rain with isolated heavy falls are also projected in Shaheed Benazirabad, Matiari, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Sanghar, Mirpur Khas, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal districts, and Karachi division during July 7–9, with occasional gaps.
According to RMC, the weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the province during the last 24 hours; however, 1 mm of rainfall was reported from Moen jo Daro, while traces of rainfall were also reported from Larkana, Jacobabad and Karachi.
