Measles Claims Lives of Seven Children in Matiari

Islamabad: Tragedy struck Matiari, Sindh, on Sunday as seven children from a single family died of a measles outbreak.

The outbreak has left six other children in critical condition, currently receiving intensive medical care at a nearby hospital.

Hospital officials reported that treatment was promptly initiated and measles vaccinations are being administered to local children.

Health department teams have been dispatched to the area to investigate and monitor any further suspected measles cases.
