Masjid Nabawi Delivers 4 00,000 Liters of Zamzam Daily

Islamabad: As many as 400,000 liters of Zamzam water are provided daily for pilgrims visiting the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid Nabawi).
According to Arab media reports, during Ramazan 40 supervisors and 500 trained workers are deployed to distribute Zamzam water to pilgrims within the Prophet’s Mosque.
The General Authority of the Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia is responsible for organizing the transportation of Zamzam water from Makkah to Madinah through the Irrigation Department.
The Zamzam water is ordered from Makkah via tankers, each capable of carrying 20 tons of water. These tankers are closely monitored throughout the journey.
Upon arrival in Madinah, the Zamzam water is sterilized and cooled by experts before being transferred into storage tanks.
The administration of Masjid Nabawi ﷺ is reported to be actively engaged in providing Zamzam water to pilgrims and worshippers around the clock.
Additionally, 10,000 bottles of Zamzam are distributed daily at the Roza Sharif, and 15,000 bottles are distributed daily within Masjid Nabawi.
