Mansehra Police ASI Suspended Over Public Complaints

Mansehra: In a proactive effort to maintain discipline, the Mansehra police suspended an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) on Thursday in response to public complaints. 

District Police Officer (DPO) Shafiullah Gandapur took action by suspending ASI Shahid Dawood after receiving multiple complaints.

The suspension came with directives for ASI Dawood to provide a written response within 7 days upon receiving a charge sheet. 

To ensure transparency in the investigation, DPO Gandapur appointed a Senior Police Officer to conduct a thorough inquiry into the allegations against ASI Dawood.

DPO Gandapur emphasized the department’s zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct, warning that any officer found with connections to criminal activities will face severe consequences.

He reiterated that those who damage the department’s reputation will face strict disciplinary measures, including potential dismissal.
