Man Poisoned Family Before Committing Suicide in Tharparkar

Islamabad: A tragic incident occurred in Koya village, Nangarparkar, where a man poisoned his wife and three children before taking his own life. Police discovered the bodies on Saturday following the incident, which is being investigated as a case of family suicide.

The deceased have been identified as the husband, Shankar, his wife, one daughter, and two sons. According to police, Shankar initially poisoned his family members and then hanged himself.

The SHO of Nagarparkar stated that the initial investigation indicates Shankar’s actions led to the deaths of his wife and children before he ended his own life.

Due to the remote location of the village, a police team has been dispatched to gather more details, and further information will be provided once they return.

This incident marks the 135th reported suicide in Tharparkar this year, according to local police.
