Pattoki: A man has been tragically killed at a marriage ceremony in a village, Tara Garh due to an altercation stemming from an exchange of harsh words.

The police spokesman said a Man, Amir opened indiscriminate firing on the bridegroom’s Uncle namely Mukhtar 50 years old after exchanging harsh words and injured him critically.

The injured was transferred to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) where he succumbed to his injuries, he added.

The spokesman said Amir managed to flee from the scene successfully. The police had formed a team to arrest the culprit, he added.
