Man Held for ‘Selling’ Minor Child

Islamabad: The Attock police arrested two persons on Monday for their alleged involvement in the buying and selling of a minor.
According to the Attock police, a man was allegingly selling his 4-month-old son for Rs 1.5 million, and a stamp paper in this regard was prepared for the sale of the child.
The police, on receiving the information, raided the locality, arrested the child’s father and the buyer, and registered a case against them.
The local police also say that the 4-month-old baby was also recovered and handed over to the Child Protection Bureau.
