Man Held for Killing Wife Over Domestic Dispute in Islamabad

Islamabad: Police have arrested a man accused of allegedly killing his wife during a domestic dispute within the jurisdiction of Shams Colony Police Station.
According to police officials, the suspect, identified as Muhammad Yasin, allegedly attacked his wife with an iron rod, resulting in her death.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police registered a case and launched an investigation. Taking notice of the matter, the Inspector General of Police (IG) Islamabad directed authorities to form special teams under the supervision of the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad to apprehend the suspect.

The investigation team from Shams Colony police station traced the accused using technical and human intelligence and arrested him within a short period.
Police also recovered the alleged murder weapon, an iron rod, along with the motorcycle used in the incident.
According to initial investigations, the suspect reportedly killed his wife following a domestic dispute. Authorities said further investigation into the case is underway.
