Man Held for Harassing Women at Badshahi Masjid

Lahore:A man was arrested for harassing women visiting Badshahi Masjid following a report from a victim who called 15, the emergency police service.

The woman reported that the suspect had been following her and other members of her family. When confronted, he slapped her younger sister and acted indecently.

The Virtual Women Police Station responded swiftly, sending officers to the scene, where they ensured the safety of the women and arrested the suspect.

A case has been filed, and legal proceedings are underway. Authorities urge women who feel unsafe in public spaces to contact the police via 15 or use the Women Safety App for immediate assistance.
