Man Held for ‘Blackmailing’ Woman Online

Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle apprehended an individual on Monday for alleged online harassment and blackmail.

According to an FIA spokesperson, the suspect, identified as Majid Hussain, reportedly harassed a woman over several months by sending inappropriate images and messages. 

The FIA conducted a raid, seizing mobile phones from the suspect’s possession. A case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.

12 Detained in Crackdown

 Police reported on Monday the arrest of 12 alleged criminals in Sargodha, with significant quantities of contraband seized during a district-wide crackdown.

 In various raids, teams from multiple police stations detained suspects, including Naveed, Saleem, Arslan, Tahir, Wajid, Shams, Shahid, Arif, Rehan, Majid, Mubashir, and Zain.

 The recovered items included 1.8 kg of hashish, nine pistols, five guns, three Kalashnikovs, 490 bullets, and cash amounting to millions of rupees. Authorities have initiated further investigations into the cases.
